Who Is Ethan Bridges?

When you are a cynic, you begin to see life as a realist. Life should be easy for all, so why are there so many people struggling at living? I question everything. Even the things I shouldn’t question about. But I’m a cynic. Always have and always will be the person to question “Why?” when others just ask “Who?” or “What?”

I grew up in the middle of Nowhere, [Insert Podunk Town Name Here], Georgia, USA. From a young age, I began to see the world in a different… way. People would think one way, and I would seem to do the total opposite but come out with the same answer as the majority. I always considered myself a nonconformist. I think it’s the monotony and mundaneness that makes me question everything. Why do things this certain way? Why believe that idea? Why can’t we do it this way? Why should I listen to you? Why are we here?

It’s these questions that I want answered but no one will answer them. They always say that I ask too many questions or why do I want to change how things have been done for years? “I don’t know,” I say. “It just seems easier to do it this way.” So I question people and their motives. Once I trust you, don’t break it. Once you break my trust, you become nothing to me. (It could just be the Scorpio in me as well)

When I’m not working or striving to deal with daily “adulting,” I enjoy doing bits of research… that sometimes turns extensive… that turns into obsession. But when I’m done, I’m done. I usually don’t return to do anything similar. I’m sure I have spent over thousands of dollars on different hobbies that seemed like a cool thing to do at that time. I’m sure my fiancé would agree with that latter statement. 😂

When I’m not working, which is less sporadic now, I try to record for the few fans that I do have out there. When I’m not podcasting, you can see me with either a book in my hand (or cellphone because I have terrible FOMO) or just chilling by watching TV with my fiancé and our three adorable but annoying cats.
